Jen is a researcher with over ten years of experience in marketing, communications and organisational change. At Southampton University’s Web Science Institute and Doctoral Training Centre, her work focuses on the role of ICTs in post-conflict settings, particularly on how to leverage new technologies and their emergent societal properties for peacebuilding, in order to inform policy and decision making.
Jen is also a Co-Director at Build Up, a social enterprise working at the intersection of technology, civic engagement and peacebuilding. Build Up is the organisation responsible for the annual Build Peace Conference where activists, practitioners, academics and technologists come together to discuss the role of technology to help build peace.
